Job Description

Local IT Infrastructure & Operations:Act as the first point of contact for all IT support requests from US employees, providing prompt and helpful troubleshooting.Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot employee laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and conference room AV equipment.Perform user account management, including onboarding (setup) and offboarding (deactivation) in systems like Active Directory and Microsoft 365.Maintain and monitor the local office network (Wi-Fi, switches) to ensure stable connectivity.Install, configure, and update standard software and applications.IT Security Support & Implementation:Assist in the deployment and upkeep of core security tools, such as endpoint protection and encryption systems (e.g., BitLocker).Monitor and manage email security settings, helping to identify and report potential phishing or spam messages.Serve as a local contact for customer information security questions, gathering requirements and coordinating responses with the global team.Help enforce company-wide IT security policies within the US office.Contribute to security awareness efforts by sharing guidelines and best practices with colleagues.Qualifications & Skills Required:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.1-3 years of experience in an IT support or general IT administration role.Practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration (user management, Exchange Online, SharePoint).Strong ability to support and troubleshoot Windows and macOS operating systems.Basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).A foundational understanding of and interest in cybersecurity principles.Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users.Legal authorization to work in the United States.Preferred:Experience in assisting with security-related tasks, such as deploying security software or responding to security questionnaires.Familiarity with using a ticketing system for IT support.A keen learner with the motivation to develop skills in IT security.
