He is also responsible for system batch processing, generation of reports, coding of report scripts and granting of system access.The duties of the IT Application Associate may include, but are not limited, to the following:Logs all relevant incident/service request details; allocate categorization and prioritization codesProvides first-line investigation and diagnosis.Resolves incidents/service requests when first contacted whenever possibleEscalates incidents/service requests that cannot be resolved within agreed timescales.Escalates incidents which are recurring.Closes all resolved incidents, requests and other calls.Updates CMDB (Configuration Management Database).Provides system access to users and initiates the review of access on a regular basis.Performs coding, testing and documentation of simple report scripts and maintaining existing scripts to meet required changes, corrections and modifications.Performs Systems Batch Processing and prepares related reports. Ensures generated reports are calibrated and accurate before turning over to users.Attends seminars and training programs provided by the Company and cascade/apply the learning and/or concepts.Keeps track and apply accordingly all up to date developments on all fields related to the position.Performs other duties assigned by immediate superior consistent with the Company’s vision, mission, and core values.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.with at least 1 year of experience in the same functionFamiliarity with IT monitoring tools and ticketing systems.Hands-on experience with JasperReports, iReport, or similar reporting tools.Proficiency in SQL scriptingHybrid work scheduleOnline recruitment process
