IT Business Analyst (Banking/Asset Management)

The candidate will be a member of the IT PM/BE Asia team, which manages and delivers the business project portfolio to support the Bank’s growth strategy.Key responsibilities include:Business analysisRequirements gatheringStakeholder managementProject management for smaller initiativesChange managementThe Business Analyst will work closely with the Product Owner, Business Stakeholders, Scrum Master / IT Project Leads, and Developers to deliver projects end-to-end.Key Features of the PositionLead the requirements gathering phase and deliver signed-off FeaturesSupport preparation of the business case and project planningEnsure all deliverables in signed-off Features/EPICs are translated into user stories / functional documents understandable by technical teamsEnsure all required deliverables are provided on time and with quality; escalate in case of delaysIssue regular and accurate status reports and organize progress meetings to keep stakeholders informedManage Change Management and communications related to requirements and functionalityMaintain effective stakeholder communication and engagementCoordinate with environment and deployment teams to ensure timely production delivery, including raising necessary setup activitiesSkills Requirements of the PositionProfessional and Technical8 to 15 years of experience in banking, preferably private banking and/or asset managementStrong understanding of the private banking value chain, especially in KYC and client onboarding processesSolid knowledge of business processes, including process design and re-engineeringFamiliarity with Business Project Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)SQL knowledge is an advantageFamiliarity with software quality processes is an advantageExperience working with Agile methodology and partnering with IT in a Scrum model is preferredPersonal and SocialStrong understanding of private banking business with the ability to communicate in both business and technical languageExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to analyze, prioritize, and resolve issues and make informed decisions under pressureStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsComfortable interacting with C-Level Executives, Functional Leads, SMEs, Technical Leads, Application Managers, and other IT teams, adapting communication as needed
