You will design compliance plans, work with legal teams, manage compliance, and lead data protection training. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is essential, along with a strong understanding of international data regulations.What will your role be:Data Privacy – Strategic & Operational (60%)Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the group’s global data privacy program, ensuring compliance with local regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA, CCPA).Conduct regular data protection impact assessments and audits to identify risks and recommend mitigations.Review contracts and agreements to evaluate potential privacy and data protection risks, ensuring alignment with internal policies and legal requirements.Monitor global data protection laws, regulations, and industry trends, providing actionable insights to business and product teams.Develop and deliver internal training programs to raise awareness of data privacy responsibilities across the organization.Cybersecurity – Strategic (30%)Collaborate with operations and maintenance team to provide strategic guidance and oversight of security initiatives, frameworks, and compliance measures.Lead and coordinate internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 27701) and manage the implementation of additional security certifications.Advise business units on security policies, risk mitigation strategies, and best practices to enhance the overall IT security posture.Other Responsibilities (10%)Serve as a key point of contact for ad hoc compliance and regulatory matters as assigned by leadership.Promote a culture of IT compliance and security awareness across the organization.What an ideal candidate means to us:Bachelor’s degree or above, with 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of information security, network security, information security or other related majors.Working proficiency in English and Chinese to communicate effectively with global teams.Proven ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across departments.Experience designing and implementing holistic data privacy and cybersecurity measures in a multinational organization.Ability to advocate for IT compliance culture through training, awareness programs, and thought leadership.Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and terminology to collaborate effectively with operations teams.
