Location: Singapore Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleThe Head of Technology will lead the organization’s overall technology vision, strategy, and execution across Asia. This role is responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure, software engineering, and technology governance, ensuring that systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals. The successful candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership and business acumen to drive innovation, operational excellence, and digital transformation.Key Responsibilities1. Infrastructure, Systems & GovernanceDesign, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient technology infrastructure.Develop and execute a regional technology roadmap aligned with strategic and operational objectives.Establish and enforce IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data governance frameworks.Ensure compliance with local and international technology regulations.Manage technology vendors and ensure cost-effective, value-driven operations.2. Software Development & InnovationLead the design, development, and integration of internal platforms, tools, and applications.Review and guide system architecture, code quality, and software design.Drive automation, digital transformation, and technology modernization initiatives.Stay hands-on with emerging technologies such as AI, data analytics, and cloud-native systems to enhance efficiency and innovation.3. Leadership & CollaborationBuild and mentor a high-performing regional technology team.Partner with executive and business leaders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.Serve as a strategic advisor on technology, innovation, and risk management.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Key RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.At least 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, ideally within financial services, fintech, or enterprise technology environments.Proven hands-on experience in software development, architecture, and IT infrastructure management.Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, and data governance.Demonstrated success in leading both infrastructure and software teams in fast-paced, regional environments.Strong ability to align technology strategy with business priorities and regulatory standards.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.wendywu@starryhire.comLicence No. : 25S2734Registration ID: R22107458
