You’ll help define and build the infrastructure that keeps our business running smoothly and ready for growth. Over time, you will play a key role in shaping our IT function – both technically and organizationally. Day-to-day, you’ll:Own and evolve our cloud setup in Azure and Microsoft 365 — defining standards, governance, and best practicesAdapt the existing infrastructure – currently operated by InCommodities Europe – to fit our needs as a lean, independent business unit in the context of our ongoing strategic decoupling.Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (PowerShell, Terraform, or similar) to simplify setup and maintenanceManage identity, access, and endpoint security through Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD)Evaluate and balance between PaaS and IaaS services to ensure flexibility, performance, and cost efficiencyStrengthening IT security and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with NIS2 and internal risk management requirementsKeep systems transparent and reliable through clear monitoring, alerting, and documentationWhat you bring 5-10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure engineering or cloud administrationDeep expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies – Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID – including infrastructure design, governance, and resource management (VMs, storage, networking, Kubernetes, etc.)Strong hands-on skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or PowerShell), automation, and cloud-native monitoringSolid understanding of networking, identity and access management, endpoint security, and cloud governance (NIS2, ISO 27001, and cybersecurity best practices)Ability to make sound architectural decisions across PaaS and IaaS environmentsA supportive team player who can mentor and guide colleagues in technical domains as well as support and inspire others in achieving their bestYou’re fluent in English, written and spokenHow you work You are proactive and self-driven, taking strong ownership and following through on your commitmentsYou thrive in a dynamic, start-up environment where flexibility, initiative, and accountability are keyYou are structured and detail-oriented, approaching challenges with a pragmatic mindsetYou communicate clearly, engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersYou can balance hands-on technical work with a strategic focus on scalable, long-term solutionsWhat you can expect A tech-driven scale-up company, which challenges how energy assets are traded and optimizedA great start-up environment with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility to drive real impactCurious, ambitious and bold people who come together to rethink what’s possibleA unique company culture where we live up to our values: Honesty, Transparency, and RethinkFlat hierarchy — no dress code, no meaningless bureaucracyLike what you’re reading?
