IT Project Manager & Functional Lead (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

ABOUT THE ROLEKPMG’s Digital Transformation practice helps clients digitally transform their business processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. As an IT Project Manager / Functional Lead, you will oversee end-to-end functional delivery, drive business process design, and lead change management activities. You will coordinate between technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure solution adoption, seamless implementation, and measurable business impact.RESPONSIBILITIES:Project & Program ManagementLead Dynamics 365 and PowerApps implementation projects, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets are met.Develop project plans, manage risks, and monitor progress using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.Serve as the primary point of contact between onshore/offshore technical teams, functional teams, and client stakeholders.Functional LeadershipDrive requirements gathering, business process mapping, and solution design for Dynamics 365 modules (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, or Customer Engagement).Oversee PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI development to automate workflows and improve decision-making.Provide guidance on integration with other enterprise systems and ensure alignment with organizational policies.Change Management & AdoptionDevelop and implement change management strategies to support adoption of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.Conduct stakeholder engagement, training, and communication activities to ensure smooth adoption.Monitor user adoption metrics, identify barriers, and implement corrective actions.Pre-Sales & SolutioningSupport pre-sales efforts, including scoping, solution design, effort estimation, and proposal preparation.Participate in client presentations, workshops, and orals to communicate functional and technical solution approaches.Governance & ReportingEnsure project compliance with KPMG standards, methodology, and risk frameworks.Provide timely updates, dashboards, and executive reports to clients and internal leadership.QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, or Business Administration.5–10 years of experience in Dynamics 365 implementation, Power Platform development, or enterprise ERP solutions.Strong functional knowledge in Dynamics 365 modules (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Customer Engagement).Experience in PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI development.Hands-on experience in project management, change management, and business process transformation.Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills. Preferred certifications:Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker / Functional ConsultantPMP, PRINCE2, or Prosci Change Management Certification
