Through our network of global development centers, Citco invests heavily in technology development, security, and infrastructure to ensure our clients continue to receive award-winning products that underpin our commitment to service excellence.As a core member of our Global QA team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.Your RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, creation and execution of manual tests required to validate the quality of the applications under test on agile methodology using scrum.As a QA Analyst, your role includes working closely with multiple stakeholders to define suitable testing strategies based on the characteristics of the individual projects.Your focus should be test automation but can be assigned to do manual testing activities based on the project needs.Creation, maintenance, optimization and execution of manual and automation test scripts which need to be scalable, highly performant, maintainable and meet high quality standards.The QA team are part of a team of IT professionals that are responsible for the development and support of IT applications on agile process.The candidate will interact closely with multiple teams such as Global Citco QA team, development and business analysts, and other technical groups and resources within Citco.Participate in peer reviews of manual and automation test scripts to ensure adherence to testing standards.Produce individual QA status reports while supporting the defect management process.Work closely with the Scrum team.Communicate and report on assigned tasks to the QA Lead/Manager.Take responsibility and exhibit ownership of assigned tasks.About YouBachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or similar discipline.At least 1-2 years’ experience in an agile testing specific role.3+ years’ experience in a functional / automation testing or development specific role.With relevant experience with the following applications/tools: JIRA, Xray, Confluence.With 2-3+ years’ experience on any of the following technologies: NodeJS, Javascript language, Rest API and Playwright.With relevant background in QA processes, the Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies.Able to set priorities, to be flexible with a high degree of accuracy.Display critical, quality-orientated, skeptical thinking about the product.Proactive person willing to accept responsibility with very little handholding.Ability to work in fast paced, complex Business & IT environmentsMust be able to work in high-pressure environment, either independently or as part of a team.Accurately evaluate and report test results, test progress and product quality.Permanent working night shift schedule is a must.ISTQB Foundation Software Certification a distinct advantage.Our BenefitsYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
