Stronger together, we promote an environment where individuals can thrive.World Fuel Services is seeking a Senior Java Developer to help drive the development and delivery of our applications.The Key Responsibilities IncludeDesign and develop highly scalable, resilient Java Spring boot applications, APIs and Graph.Evaluate and provide technical solutions to complex application development problems.Collaborate with other team members to develop product features and services.Develop tests to validate and maintain code quality as per the expectations.Work with QA on developing testing processes, frameworks, and automation strategies.Stay up to date on relevant technologies, trends and opportunities.Job Requirements4 - 6 years of software development experience.Extensive experience in software development using Java Spring boot, JavaScript, Angular and AWS services.Experience with API development using GraphQL, and AWS services like EC2, SQS, DMS, SNS, SES, S3 and others.Understanding of CICD process using tools like bitbucket or bamboo.Proven ability to design scalable RESTful services.Solid knowledge of source controls like git or bitbucket.Knowledge and working experience in Agile MethodologiesUnderstanding of the software practices of Continuous Integration and Automated TestingExperience with single sign-on, session management, user profiles, and user identity and authentication frameworks such as OAuth a strong plusCommitment to understanding the business domain and incorporating quality software practices into all phases of the project life lifecycleStrong team player with excellent communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.Self-motivated professional who demonstrates strong technical agility and responsiveness and who is eager to learn and growPlease note that by submitting an employment application you consent to World Fuel Services processing your information for this role and potentially for future employment opportunities, in accordance with applicable laws.
