Job descriptionJob Title: Software Support SpecialistResponsibilities:Customer Support:Respond to customer inquiries and issues related to software applications via email, phone, or chat.Provide prompt and courteous assistance to users, guiding them through problem-solving steps.Troubleshooting:Diagnose and analyze software-related problems reported by users.Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues.Issue Resolution:Work to resolve customer problems in a timely and efficient manner.Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or development teams as needed.Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation, including FAQs and knowledge base articles.Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions for future reference.Training:Provide basic training to users on software functionality and best practices.Assist in creating training materials and resources for users.Feedback and Improvement:Gather user feedback and communicate it to the development team for continuous improvement.Contribute to the development of user guides and tutorials.Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and product management, to address customer needs.Software Updates:Assist users with software updates and installations.Communicate release notes and updates to users.Requirements:EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.ExperienceProven experience in a software support or technical support role.Familiarity with software development processes is a plus.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of software applications and troubleshooting methodologies.Knowledge of operating systems, databases, and network configurations.Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to think critically and adapt to new situations.Customer Focus: Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Job Type: Full-timePay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per monthExperience:Software Support: 1 year (Required)License/Certification: Driving License (Preferred)Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred)
