IT Solutions Architect – SwitzerlandLocation: Zurich / Geneva / Basel, Switzerland (Hybrid or On-site) Department: IT / Technology / Solutions Employment Type: Full-time Reports to: Head of IT / Chief Technology Officer (CTO)About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect to design, implement, and oversee complex IT solutions for our organization in Switzerland. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to ensure that IT systems meet business requirements, are scalable, secure, and aligned with overall IT strategy.This position requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into robust technical architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance IT architectures across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for IT strategy and solution design.Ensure integration and interoperability of systems within the enterprise architecture.Define technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for software and infrastructure.Provide guidance to development, operations, and project teams on architecture and implementation.Conduct system analysis, risk assessments, and performance reviews.Support solution implementation, deployment, and troubleshooting.Document architecture designs, system specifications, and technical decisions.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, or systems engineering.Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises infrastructure.Proficiency in system integration, APIs, networking, and security standards.Familiarity with enterprise software, databases, and application frameworks.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Fluent in English; German and/or French is an advantage.Relevant certifications (TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or similar) are a plus.What We OfferCompetitive Swiss market salary and benefits package.Hybrid working flexibility (home office + on-site).Opportunities to lead innovative IT projects with international impact.Collaborative, multicultural, and forward-thinking work environment.Professional development support and access to cutting-edge technologies.Annual learning and certification budget.
