IT Specialist

One of Frankfurt’s fastest growing fintechs is looking for an IT Operations Specialist to join their IT team, based in Frankfurt (hybrid). In this role, you will be a player within a small team to satisfy the demands of the firm’s growing presence. You’ll be on a team taking care of the entirety of the company’s IT tools, devices, processes etc.The successful candidate will be a motivated individual that wants to shape an environment that is built on compliant IT infrastructure in a fast-paced and energetic environment. Terrific communication, collaboration skills, and a positive attitude towards both team members and a wide scope of internal customers are critical to success within this role.ResponsibilitiesYou will support existing IT infrastructure within the company as well as, IT networking and administrationYou will create, maintain and update system and operational documentationYou will collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as acting as the go-to contact person for any issues and questions regarding IT infrastructure topicsSupport in the planning and procurement of both hardware and software within the businessCollaborate with management as well as communicating with external service providersClosely work and support on internal IT projectsWork closely with other departments to ensure smooth integration of IT services, paying strong attention to security, regulatory aspects and data protection; explain and enforce internal processesRequirementsBusiness fluent in German and English is a mustA degree in computer science, business informatics or similar would be preferred, or relevant IT training/experienceAt least 1-2 years of professional experience in IT Operations and previous work in a regulated environment with a focus on retail banking and/or export finance (a plus)Strong communication skills and team spiritSound knowledge of ITIL or other relevant frameworksExperience working with: Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Azure Cloud would be an advantageGood knowledge of IT securityREST API and Test AutomationAutomation of processes: Atlassian (Jira, Confluence)Interested in implementing and accompanying your own ideas from start to finishCommitted, personable and communicativeExcellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsBenefitsA meritocratic, performance driven collaborative cultureStrong career growth trajectory at a young and growing companyOpportunity to have an impactful role within an expanding businessLots of nice perks, a lovely office in the centre of FrankfurtSpace for you and your ideas and to develop yourself furtherFlat hierarchiesA committed and international teamTeam events--This position is open to candidates eligible to work in Germany.
