The position is based in Stuttgart Germany.Essential Functions And Job ResponsibilitiesInstalling, configuring, and maintaining desktop and laptop PCs, and peripherals on NIPR, SIPR and TS networks.Configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning, and monitoring operating system software and hardware.Installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades.Providing full lifecycle support of the campus infrastructure including network installation, tuning, testing, monitoring, upgrading, patching, break/fix, defense, and management of the campus routing and switching infrastructures, including network hardwareRemoving old equipment and performing data migration to new machines.Installing, maintaining, and assessing current and future telecommunications systems and equipment.Supporting messaging services including email, chat, and VTC sessions on behalf of end users to ensure proper operationInstalling new cable. Terminating and testing new cable. Testing and troubleshooting faulty cable.Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues.Troubleshooting and resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity, and related network problems.Troubleshooting, analyzing, and isolating the root cause of problems that ariseRecommending courses of action to return impacted systems to full operational statusStrong written and verbal communications skills.Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.Communicating both orally and in writing, with staff at all levels internally, with oversight agencies, with the private sector and with senior government executives.QualificationsMust meet DOD 8570 / 8140 Compliance (Security+ or Higher)Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI upon hireFamiliarity with COCOM operationsBachelor's Degree & 2 years of experience6 Years experience with no degreeDesired QualificationsCompTIA A+CompTIA Network+CCNABMC Remedy and Service Now Experience
