DSI is a sales enablement company that has an immediate career opportunity for a motivated IT Support Associate to join our team. The IT Support Associate will provide day-to-day support to the organization's end users desktop computers, printers, phones, mobile devices, and software.As the IT Support Associate, you will interface directly with internal customers and various departments, troubleshooting user issues to resolution. We serve as a one-stop solution across a range of markets—including mobility, broadband, video, commercial, residential, Lodging & Institutions, and Multi-Dwelling Units—empowering our sales partners to uncover new opportunities and maximize their potential.RequirementsProvide support for Windows workstations, various peripherals, and VOIP phonesPerform hardware and software installation, upgrades and configurationAdhere to company procedures for hardware and software requests and installsProvide problem diagnosis and resolution for hardware and software issuesInstall all peripheral components such as printers, scanners, phones and disk drivesAnswer inbound technical support calls and emailsProvide telephone, in-person, and remote support to end-usersTroubleshooting of LAN/WAN connectivity issuesProvide accurate and timely logging of problemsEscalate issues as neededWork with vendor, software provider, and manufacturer support as neededMonitor the ticketing system and complete tickets in a timely mannerImage new and existing desktop systemsMaintain proper inventory of corporate assetsProvide updates, status information, and completion information to manager and/or users as neededSupport corporate audio/visual equipmentTravel between office sites to perform assigned dutiesPerforms additional duties and assignments as requestedMust be very security conscious and do all it takes to avoid sensitive data falling into the wrong handsAbility to effectively handle stress, pressures, and challengesSkills & AbilitiesEvaluate critical systems, prioritize workflow, and determine solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsInterpret and apply laws, regulations, and policiesProvide technical assistance for computer problemsRead and understand technical manualsWork for extended time at the keyboard/terminalMaintain effective working relationships with supervisor and coworkersWork flexible hours, possibly including weekends and eveningsExperience Required1-2 Years of Desktop AdministrationKnowledge ofComputer, network operations, and maintenanceLAN/WANsMicrosoft Windows XP/7/10/11 Operating SystemsBenefitsMedical, Dental & Life insurance are available on the first day of the month following your first day of employment - no extended waiting period401k Plan with employer matching Paid vacation, personal/sick days, and bereavement timeEmployee Profit Sharing Program50% AT&T wireless discountPaid trainingAdvancement opportunities, we prefer to promote from within!
