Location: Dubai DowntownEmployment Type: Full-Time / PermanentRole Overview:We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to provide first- and second-line technical support within a Microsoft-based environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and core Windows desktop/server troubleshooting. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily IT operations, responding to user requests, maintaining system availability, and supporting the wider infrastructure and security frameworks.Key Responsibilities:- Provide first- and second-line IT support to end users across Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.- Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) accounts, security groups, and access permissions.- Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, and email flow.- Support Azure Virtual Machines, storage, and network configurations under supervision.- Troubleshoot issues across Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office applications.- Perform system maintenance, updates, and patch management.- Support device setup and configuration (Windows 10/11, mobile devices, and peripherals).- Maintain and document IT incidents, assets, and change logs using ticketing systems.- Assist with endpoint security, antivirus, and backup checks.- Support network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, VPNs).- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and assist in project rollouts when required. Skills & Experience:- 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or service desk role.- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure portal, and Windows OS.- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Admin Center, and Intune desirable.- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.- Customer-focused attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities.- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk, Autotask, Zoho Desk) preferred. Qualifications:- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or MS-900 preferred.- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline advantageous.Personal Attributes:- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.- Able to work independently and within a small, dynamic team.- Professional, trustworthy, and committed to excellent customer service.Looking for 2 positions to be filled:- 8.30am to 5.30pm (Senior IT Support Engineer)- 3pm to 11pm ( IT Support Engineer)
