Job Summary And Requirements This is a full-time TERM position (anticipatory permanent), working 75 hours bi-weekly to November 25, 2026. Will consider temporary assignments. We embrace a work environment where problem solving, creativity, teamwork, risk management and personal effort result in the attainment of our goals and those of the public and our clients.The Finance and Information Management branch provides financial services, support and systems management; IT and information management advice and support (ATIPP and records management etc.); as well as managing the department’s public facing-library.Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the IT Support Technician provides departmental computer systems administration and support to EMR offices. This position works with Windows based computers and related peripheral equipment, ensuring minimal disruption of service. Education and/or coursework in computer science or related field Experience providing technical support in a team environment Experience installing and maintaining computer software, hardware, and related computing environments. Experience supporting a Microsoft environment Experience creating user facing and internal documentation, including policies, procedures, instructions and guidelines is an asset Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
