IT Vendor Manager

We're Hiring: IT Vendor Manager | Strategic Procurement Role We're looking for a Vendor Manager to support a high-impact M&A initiative. This role focuses on consolidating vendor contracts for a newly acquired company, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving strategic sourcing excellence.Project Scope:Review and compare vendor contracts from the acquired company with existing agreementsIdentify synergies and savings opportunitiesLead contract amendments, renewals, and closuresMust-Have Skills & Experience (minimum 3):Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesProven experience in vendor negotiationsExpertise in contractual terms and pricing negotiationsNice-to-Have Skills:Familiarity with Google WorkspaceUnderstanding of AI tools and automationStrong analytical skills for data comparisonLogistical thinking and process optimizationBilingual capabilities (an asset, not a requirement)Role Overview: As a Vendor Manager, you’ll lead strategic procurement efforts across shared services categories including facilities, field services, mobile technologies, and more.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost reductionManage vendor relationships and performanceNegotiate and administer commercial contractsCollaborate with internal stakeholdersApply market intelligence to procurement decisionsQualifications:5+ years in vendor/supplier relationship managementStrategic sourcing and supply chain experienceStrong contract negotiation skills with large organizationsExperience leading competitive bidding (RFX)Industry experience in complex service environments (preferred)Skills & Tools:Negotiation, strategic sourcing, financial acumenFamiliarity with automation, AI, and e-procurement toolsGoogle Suite proficiencyEducation:Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain (MBA preferred)Supply chain certifications (SCMP, CPP, ISM) are a plusWhat Sets You Apart:High integrity and accountabilityAbility to manage complex negotiations under pressureStrong stakeholder engagement across all levelsProven success in value-driven vendor management📩 Know someone who’d be a great fit?
