Commercial Planning & Pricing SpecialistWe are looking for a Commercial Planning & Pricing Specialist to join our Retail Commercial Planning team within our Italy Business Unit. In this role you will analyze sales data and market trends to create accurate forecasts that guide strategic decisions. Responsibilities include evaluating pricing strategies, promotions, and historical performance, aligning forecasts with business objectives, ensuring compliance with data protection laws, and tracking KPIs. The role also involves generating regular reports to inform stakeholders and support decision-making.📊 Your Day-to-day ActivitiesCommercial and Financial Planning: Prepare, update, and monitor forecasts, budgets, and periodic revisions (monthly or quarterly), ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and financial results.Performance Analysis: Perform analyses on sales data (volumes, net sales and margins) and market trends to evaluate performing and underperforming products and uncover actionable insights that inform business decisions;Scenario Planning and Forecast: Develop and analyze various business scenarios (pricing, volumes, channel mix, promotions) to support strategic and tactical decision-making; Sales Targets: Develop sales forecasts over different time periods based on previous analyses, using forecasting models and adjusting them according to changing market conditions and sales objectives;Evaluation of Commercial Initiatives: analyze promotional proposals and discount plans, assessing their impact on the P&L and overall profitability;6. Channel Support: provide insights and economic/commercial analyses to support channel strategies, contributing to the definition of promotional plans and pricing policies. Apply a critical approach aimed at optimizing commercial strategies by segment and product, maintaining balance across channels;Ad Hoc Projects: Actively participate in the deployment of new planning and reporting tools, collaborating with IT and global functions to define requirements and validate outcomes;Cross-functional business partnering: Act as the interface between the Commercial and Marketing teams, serving as the first point of contact to translate new product developments and launches into 3-year business case forecasts. Works closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Logistics) to provide alignment of sales forecast with overall business strategies and operational capabilities, and providing information on promotional and event activities;Follow data security and privacy protocols and practices to ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations;💡 Who we’re looking for You'll ideally have prior experience in commercial planning (FMCG sector preferred) where you have been able to refine your financial & analytical skills to interpret data, assess profitability, and support decision-making.You're skilled in forecasting & strategic planning and confident in building accurate forecasts and analyzing scenarios for business impact.You feel comfortable working cross-functionally, collaborating with marketing, IT, and other teams effectively.Good level of English, written and spoken.This position is based at our Turin Headquarters (remote working up to 10 days per month)✨ In Return We OfferComprehensive welfare package including short working week during summer monthsHybrid working policy (10 days a month remote working)Company restaurant serviceAccess to our corporate gymA fast paced and dynamic international context💬 What next?
