About The JobThe Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of cargo to designated destinations. The role involves ensuring compliance with traffic and safety regulations, performing routine vehicle checks, and supporting efficient logistics operationsResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Operate company trucks to transport goods/materials as assigned. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure roadworthiness. Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing of loads to avoid damage in transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage, fuel usage, and service records. Comply with all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company transport policies.
Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods as per dispatch schedules. Report accidents, incidents, or vehicle defects immediately to the Transport Supervisor. Keep the assigned truck clean, well-maintained, and in compliance with inspection and licensing requirements. Support warehouse or yard teams during loading/unloading as needed. Requirements Minimum of driving certificate from the recognize institution Valid truck driver’s license. Minimum of 3–5 years’ proven experience as a truck driver in logistics, transport, or manufacturing industry. Good knowledge of road networks (local and regional).
