Java software architect

For one of our clients we are looking for Java software architect with a strong background in cloud-native application design and enterprise integration.General conditions:Start date: January 2026Location: hybrid in Brussels Duration: 6 monthsContract: B2B via MindLanguages: Dutch is a must, French is a plusDeadline for applications: 29.11.2025What you will do:Design and implement modular, service-oriented architectures using cloud-native principlesLead the adoption of containerization and orchestration technologies to improve deployment efficiency and system scalability.Establish and maintain integration frameworks that support real-time data exchange and event-driven communication.Define and promote development standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices across multiple teams.Collaborate with cross-functional units to align technical solutions with organizational goals.Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Drive automation initiatives to streamline software delivery pipelines and reduce operational overhead.Monitor system performance and implement observability tools to ensure reliability and traceability.Your skills:Proven experience in designing and deploying microservices architectures.Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and cloud infrastructure.Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Ability to coach and support teams in adopting new technologies and methodologies.Tech stack:Programming Languages: Java (5-9 years)Frameworks & Tools: Spring ecosystem, container platforms, CI/CD pipelinesIntegration Technologies: Messaging systems, event streaming, API gatewaysMonitoring & Logging: Distributed tracing, centralized logging platformsVersion Control & Collaboration: Git-based repositories, agile project toolsOperating Systems: Linux-based environments (5+ years)Disclaimer for agencies:Mind OSS will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate.
