Are you an experienced Jet Engine Mechanic looking for a new challenge – or someone with technical skills eager to grow a career in aviation?We are the Jet Engine MRO located at Helsinki Airport, Finland, looking for new colleagues to join our Hospital Shop Visit team (SPAH) in our steadily developing and international company, GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES).SPAH is a separate team within our company that is dedicated to performing surgical quick turn engine repairs onsite and offsite.Our SPAH mechanics work on CFM56-5B/7B & CF6-80C2 Special Procedure Workscopes which includes but not limited to:Pre- and Post-Lease and Purchase inspectionsOn-wing inspections and repairsHot section, Top/Bottom Case repairsModule replacementsEngine test runs & preservationMPD tasks renewalCompressor/Turbine blade and vane replacementsIf you are an experienced Jet Engine Mechanic, we expect prior knowledge of these tasks, and after getting familiar with our practices, you will gradually take responsibility for them and have the opportunity to share your expertise with others.If you are new to aviation, but have technical/mechanical background (e.g. automotive, machinery, industrial maintenance), good hand skills and strong motivation to learn, we will provide you with comprehensive training to develop into a professional Jet Engine Mechanic.Whether you are an experienced Jet Engine Mechanic or taking your first steps in aviation, we expect you to have:Good hand skills and ability to use tools correctlyGood English language skills to communicate and to read & interpret manuals and service bulletinsFlexibility with working times and tasksResponsibility, motivation and willingness to learn new thingsPositive, hardworking and team-oriented attitudeDiligenceWhat we offer:Starting salary 31 500€/year GROSS with increases based on experience, skills, and performanceFull-time, permanent positionComprehensive occupational health servicesWork insurance5 weeks paid vacationovertime opportunitiesSupportive, positive and international work environmentVarious in-house training and development opportunitiesDiverse well-being benefits (sports & cultural pass, on-site gym, recreational activities, team-building events)Help with relocation, if applicant is based outside of FinlandDo you want to join our highly diverse international and experienced work community?
