ATP, building up a new team in Budapest.We are looking for a Development Architect who would engineer solutions that meet with SAP’s quality standards and in accordance to the SAP technology strategy. In this role, you will work very closely with Development Managers, Product Managers, Software Developers, Designers and Domain Experts, in an Agile (HPOM) working model.As an Architect in Public Cloud Engineering ATP you will help building a new Empowered Product Team in Budapest partnering closely with our established ATP teams for domain guidance.Responsible for support and development of product features in ATP with high levels of coding and quality standardsAbility to analyse and solve issues in existing and new codeDemonstrates full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrates a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiencyEnhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the teamExperience building highly available, secure and scalable enterprise productsAssume additional technical, organizational or coordination tasks or roles, as requiredFlexibility to work with teams distributed across different geographiesClosely collaborate with the Architects (L3 and L4 level) within the unit for a streamlined and aligned approachWhat You'll BringMaster's Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, natural sciences, or similar field10+ years building enterprise products; 5+ years in architectural/technical leadershipHands-on expertise: ABAP, RAP, CDS, OData V4, Fiori/UI5Experience in Design and architecting large scale software developmentsHigh level of commitment towards ownership of product/topic will be the key for successModern engineering: CI/CD, automated testing, observability (logs/metrics/traces), feature togglesExcellent communication and stakeholder management; track record mentoring engineers; comfortable in distributed teamsPlus: ATP domain, SAP BTP, genAI-assisted dev/testingLanguage: English (fluent); German is a plusWHERE YOU BELONGOur teams in SCM Core Manufacturing & Asset Mgmt.
