Perichoresis’ vision is to EMBRACE every destitute fellow human being and encompass all people, both native and foreign, in the SPIRIT of INCLUSION, providing protection, accommodation, medical/pharmaceutical care, legal support, social inclusion and educational programmes.JOB VACANCY: ARABIC/KURMANJI INTERPRETER-010Type of contract: Fixed-termDuration of contract: 30/06/2019Department: Administration/OperationsLocation of work: Katerini, Pieria, 601 34Short Job SummaryThe Interpreter will be responsible for accurate and effective interpretation and communication between Arabic and/or Kurdish-speaking beneficiaries and PERICHORESIS NGO staff in order for the organization to better serve the specific subset of beneficiaries within the ongoing projects.Job DutiesFacilitate discussions, using interpretation and/or translation, oral and/or written, that every beneficiary is understanding, between beneficiaries and staff in order to help them understand the activities and the different type of services provided, their requests and needs’ fulfilment.Interpretation between beneficiaries, staff of PERICHORESIS NGO and Greek Authorities related to provision of support to refugees.Translate texts and announcements related to the project.Required CompetenciesPrevious working experience or volunteering in similar positionExcellent knowledge of Arabic, Kurdish and/or Sorani language.
