S/he will lead the monitoring, evaluation, the design and the actual implementation of project’s educational activities. S/he will plan and oversee the implementation of all educational activities, will provide technical guidance and supervision to Perichoresis NGO and will engage with relevant stakeholders.“HELIOS” PROJECTType of contract: Fixed – termStatus: Full-time (08:30-16:30 Monday-Friday)Salary: 1200€ / month (net)Duration: until June 2023 (with possibility of project-funding extension)Location of work: Katerini, PieriaDeadline for application submission: 31/01/2023Job DutiesLead in the daily management of all educational activities in accordance with the standards of HELIOS Project, staying up-to-date with national & international standards and best practices, ensuring technical rigor and the consistent application of Perichoresis’ approaches, methods and tools.Ensure the timely and quality delivery of all education-related organizational and project reports and staff contributions to organizational monitoring and evaluation requirements to ensure project quality, relevance and accountability to beneficiary populations.Ensure that the educational staff had clear goals, work plan and operated under project policies and procedures.Ensure that ethical and statistically-sound data collection and protection-related information management systems are in place and used for analysis, planning, evaluation, and advocacy. This is done collaboratively with the M&E Officer.Collaborate with the Project Manager towards communicating educational needs and timely problem solving.Maintain cooperative relationship with authorities, local actors and HELIOS stakeholders and partners.Other duties as assigned.Required CompetenciesUniversity/college degree in Education or other related studiesOne-two years working experience in similar positionExcellent knowledge of EnglishExcellent command in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Collaboration, coordination and behavioral skills in working within a team and managing staffAbility to work under stressful situations and take initiatives, ability to organize and supervise, problem-solving skills in everyday situations which include crisis managementStructured and analytical way of thinkingPrevious working experience or volunteering in Non-Governmental Organizations will be considered as an additional assetAgape, solidarity and empathy to the beneficiaries that the organization is servingDESIRABLE COMPETENCIESKnowledge of any second languageFlexibility and adaptability to the fluid context that the organization is operatingEMPLOYMENT APPLICATION SUBMISSIONAll interested parties are called to send their resume in Greek and/or English through the hr@perichoresis.ngoe-mail address, clearly stating the “ILC COORDINATOR-EDUCATION TL-01.2023” on the subject field.
