The company is also leading the ERTMS rollout in Sweden both onboard and trackside and delivering the new standard national traffic management system for Trafikverket.Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in installation of the railway signalling system?Could you be the Installation Manager Sweden in southern Sweden we’re looking for?Your Future RoleAlstom is currently looking for an Installation Manager Sweden for the Engineering & Field Operations organisation, who will be incorporated into a motivated team in order to take on big and positive challenges.The primary focus will be on the ongoing Onboard projects concerned with the installation of the signalling system ETCS. The installation activity will be performed across workshops in Sweden.As an Installation Manager, you are responsible for supervising and validating execution for one or several workshops, including partners and subcontractors, within the same geographic area. Your role includes interfacing with the customer, short-term planning and operational planning, organizing, and managing teams consisting of installation staff. You will report and monitor the activity and costs to the Engineering & Field Operations director and implement strict cost control of the installation activities.Furthermore, you are responsible for the workshop quality, cost, and delivery commitments. Also, your task is to manage the return of experience which includes lifting feedback from the field to other Alstom project managers.We’ll Look To You ForDevelopment of Onboard Installation Engineering Function:Develop and expand the Onboard Installation Engineering function within product line D&IS Sweden.Recruit and onboard skilled staff, fostering competence within the domain.Project Engineering ManagementEnsure strict adherence to installation procedures best practices and facilitate the communication and enforcement of ”lessons learned.”Manage the Onboard Installation project portfolio for Sweden, including performance tracking and reporting.Capabilities And Strategic InitiativesEnsure sufficient capabilities for successful project deliveries.Plan and implement long-term strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.Stakeholder CollaborationMaintain strong customer relations at an overall level.Initiatives For ImprovementLead development and improvement initiatives for tools, methods, and processes within the installation domain.Coordination And ComplianceCoordinate with relevant stakeholders on issues affecting installation delivery activities.Ensure that work is conducted with a primary focus on personal safety.Prepare and execute well-organized schedules for deliveries within projects.Personnel Qualifications And ComplianceEnsure that personnel involved in projects have sufficient qualifications and authorizations for their tasks.Inform involved personnel about applicable regulations and ensure compliance.ImplementationManage the implementation of installation delivery activities and processes uniformly across contracts.Bid SupportProvide support for bids to contribute to successful business acquisition.These responsibilities collectively underscore the Installation Manager’s role in driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the D&IS Sweden domain.All About YouWe value passion and attitude over experience.
