About The RoleAt Finary, we make finance accessible, engaging, and trustworthy through high-quality video content. Our YouTube channel explores personal finance, investing, and major economic stories for a fast-growing audience of curious investors.We’re looking for a Journalism Intern to elevate our editorial and visual standards. You’ll work closely with our lead writer and production team to research, document, and illustrate each story with accuracy, depth, and creativity.Your mission: strengthen the storytelling power of our videos — through rigorous research, credible sources, and compelling visual references.You’ll also contribute to building our internal editorial workflow, designing a scalable system for research and archival visuals that will power Finary’s future productions.You’d Be a Great Fit If YouAre currently studying journalism, economics, or media and have a strong editorial sensibilityHave excellent research and fact-checking skills — you love getting the details rightCan translate complex financial or economic topics into clear, engaging narrativesHave an eye for visuals — you know how the right image can elevate a storyAre organized, autonomous, and reliable under tight production timelinesWrite and communicate with perfect spelling and grammar (French & English proficiency is a plus)Are curious, proactive, and passionate about media, storytelling, and financeThis Role Is Not for You If YouHave little to no interest in finance, economics, or investingPrefer theory over execution — this is a hands-on, fast-paced environmentDon’t double-check your facts, grammar, or sourcesBonus Points If YouHave prior experience in economic or finance journalismAre familiar with YouTube or digital-first media productionAlready invest or follow financial markets closelyHave built small image or documentation libraries beforeCan bring fresh storytelling ideas to the table — you love proposing new anglesHow to apply?Tell us why you want to join Finary.
