This position is responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, entering invoices into QuickBooks, and assisting with month-end reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to build a strong foundation in accounting within a dynamic and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.• Enter invoices and other transactions into QuickBooks.• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.• Support the preparation of financial reports and schedules.• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment matters.• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed.Qualifications1–2 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience.Experience in preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits.Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance with financial regulations.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.Relevant certification or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Experience in the mining or natural resources sector is an asset.
