Junior AI Engineer

OverviewAs a Junior AI Engineer, you will join our team to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions and scalable backend systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to build production-grade AI-driven features, APIs, and internal tools.ResponsibilitiesAssist in designing, developing, and deploying AI and backend solutions using Python, FastAPI, and modern AI frameworks.Support the development and optimization of machine learning (ML) and large language model (LLM) applications.Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model integration under supervision.Work with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB to write efficient queries and manage data pipelines.Help build and maintain APIs and services (REST/WebSocket).Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate AI-driven features into web applications.Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices.Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and technical learning sessions.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent self-taught experience).Must have very good English communication skills. Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts, transformers, or LLMs.Experience with Python and familiarity with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.Understanding of databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) and data modeling.Awareness of deployment tools (Docker, CI/CD) is an advantage.Eager to learn, open-minded, and proactive in solving problems.Nice to HaveExperience coding in JavaScript.
