Guided by our values of integrity, respect, accountability and excellence, we use leading science and technology to move fiber-based packaging forward.We are looking for a Junior AP Accountant to join our finance team and support day‑to‑day accounts payable operations in an international environment.Your Responsibilities Process supplier invoices in line with company policies and accounting standards (PO and Non‑PO). Perform 3‑way matching (PO – GR – Invoice) and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Investigate and resolve supplier queries in cooperation with internal stakeholders. Support supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy of AP ledgers. Assist in payment preparation activities, including clearing invoice blocks and validating invoice data. Escalate discrepancies, urgent issues, and potential risks to the AP Team Leader. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements. Maintain AP documentation and support the preparation of standard reports. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to team efficiency initiatives.Our Requirements University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or currently pursuing). Good command of English at a communicative level. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness to learn and develop within the Accounts Payable area. Basic knowledge of MS Excel (filtering, sorting, simple formulas). Ability to organize your work, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Good communication skills and a cooperative, team‑oriented attitude.Nice To Have First experience in finance, accounting, Accounts Payable, or administrative roles. Experience in an international or shared services environment. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, JD Edwards, ServiceNow, Radius). German language skills.
