Run what runs the worldThis Position reports to:Manufacturing Unit ManagerIn this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.The work model for the role is on site, Monday to Friday in office.Your Role: Own the ChallengeAssist in purchasing materials, supplies, and services for warehouse operations.Create and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure stock availability.Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery timelines, and resolve discrepancies.Track shipments and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries.Support cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for procurement efficiency.Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and priorities.Assist in vendor evaluation and onboarding processes.What It Takes To Run What Runs The World1–2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role (warehouse or logistics environment preferred).Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is an asset.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Why ABB?We empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence.
