You’ll contribute to the decision-making process by gathering competitor intelligence, analyzing customer feedback, and interpreting sales data to identify opportunities and refine selections.Managing the critical path will be essential – ensuring timely placement of sales orders, tracking deliveries, and overseeing sample management. Your strong communication, organizational skills, and proactive problem-solving will be vital in driving the success of the product range and supporting the wider buying function.YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Compile and analyze weekly sales reports, highlighting top-performing products and presenting insights to the team;Monitor inventory levels and sales trends to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize overstock;Manage seasonal sample collections, coordinating logistics and maintaining accurate records;Oversee the preparation and placement of sales orders, tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery;Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and commercial opportunities;Develop product knowledge and training materials for seasonal collections to enhance store team performance and customer engagement;Lead product selection and range planning for the Accessories collection across both e-commerce and retail channels.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, Retail Management, or related field;1-2 years of experience in buying or product merchandising (internships included);Strong analytical and numerical skills;Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint;Passion for retail, trends, and customer behavior;Exceptional organizational skills;Fully comfortable working in English.WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE:Located in Amsterdam, our G-STAR HQ offers the chance to work in a diverse environment, with a team of about 300 employees who represent more than 35 nationalities.
