NOTE: As this is a Creative role, a Portfolio is required for consideration. As a Junior Copywriter, you will be responsible for work produced on behalf of our clients, as well as any work created for our company, as the need may arise. You are required to collaborate with other creative staff in order to ideate, produce and implement creative that solves our clients' business problems, briefs or goals. You are also expected to maintain ourcompany's standards of creative excellence and, within reason, profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesIdeation + Strategic AcumenUnderstand what the client is seeking to achieve and translating this into effective ideas.Able to work on briefs across industries.Proactive in bringing new ideas / concepts for the brands / clients they work with.Constantly striving to deliver disruptive ideas.Communicate and present rationale for recommending creative ideas through effective presentation and verbal communication skills.Constantly up skilling, good understanding of creative / social / digital trends and how these can be adapted / adopted into ideas and the work.Execution / ProductionCollaborate and support the creative process on multiple projects from concept through to completion, working with both in-house resources and third-party vendors to deliver great work.Possess knowledge of production, printing, and digital media.Understand how to work with vendors when required.Passionate about craft, learning and developing to deliver work of the highest quality.Contribute to work for creative and effectiveness awards at local and international awards competitions.Good time management - Timely in work delivery, aware and able to flag delays in timelines before deadlines are missed.Business AcumenCurious about the business and how it works with an open mind and willingness to learn this side.People ManagementWork effectively in a team, able to support the team in requirements.Understand the escalation structure within the team and the organisation.Clear on professional code of conduct within the Agency regulations, policy and culture.Job Specifications1.
