Our expertise in managing credit and counterparty risk provides a vital competitive advantage while enabling clients to trade with confidence.Key Responsibilities Assist and support the business in the collection and collation of physical shipping fixtures and other related shipping data . Help maintain the internal tracking systems for physical shipping data and information. Assist with the production and dissemination of market and fixture reports. Update manager of progress on a daily basis . Assist with data management and data quality, including compiling data for presentations or other company or client requirements . Work with the wider tech team to develop improvements to systems and processes , developing them with the dev team from idea to release. Help maintain the running of current and new systems, troubleshooting and fixing issues . Ensure full awareness of and adhere to internal policies that relate to the role or any relevant other activities. Exercise judgment and act with integrity, due care, skill and diligence and be open and co-operative . Complete any mandatory training required by the company and required deadlines . Perform any other reasonable duties the company may require . Training Maintain own Continued Professional Development (CPD). Requirements Proactive and self-motivated. Learn quickly and question/challenge any comprehension uncertainties. Has a tenacious outlook and focus, able to stick at and resolve tasks. Coding and database skills are highly desirable ( P ython, R, SQL ) Enjoys and has a logical approach to solving problems. Has solid analytic al skills. C ommunicates effectively with colleagues.
