Whether you're a recent graduate or bring a couple of years’ experience in accounts receivable / payable, billing or finance administration, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic role.In this role, you’ll provide essential support to our finance team, project managers and leadership team, ensuring timely billing, accurate project financial data and seamless operations across our East Coast client portfolio. Key Responsibilities:Provide project financial information and delivery support to Project Managers and Engineers. Purchase order management from raising requisitions, invoicing receipt and close out.Maintains accurate and up-to-date project records and registers, covering purchase orders, invoice reconciliations, and correspondence, ensuring compliance with project governance.Management of project creation and set up in the cost management system.Monitor project expenditure and report costs against purchase order control budgets.Timesheet administration and governance to ensure all labour and subcontractor hours are captured, accurately reported and invoiced to clients.Identifying cost variances, potential overruns and recommend corrective action when necessary.Contribute to project cost and forecasting reporting.Support month-end reconciliation and financial reporting activities including work in progress (WIP) and variance analysis.Generate and issue monthly client progress claims, invoices and monitor payment status.Manage expenses by raising, reviewing, justifying, and ensuring accurate cost allocating.Support project financial close out activities.Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.About You: Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field is desirable.Graduate with up to 3 years’ experience in a professional services, resources, construction or project-based business (preferred but not essential).Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and PowerBI is favourable.Strong Microsoft Office Suit software skills with advanced excel capability.Understanding of project management principles, cost accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.Motivated and energetic with a strong work ethic.
