By fostering inclusive and supportive environments, CMHA HPE empowers individuals to lead fulfilling and healthy lives.Position Summary:Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Junior Financial Analyst provides support in key finance functions including data entry, reconciliations, report preparation, and financial analysis. This position assists in budgeting and forecasting processes, maintains accurate financial records, and supports the Finance team in day-to-day operations. The Junior Analyst will work closely with team members and other departments to ensure financial data integrity and contribute to internal reporting efforts. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of financial principles, and a desire to develop analytical and reporting skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Qualifications & Experience:·     Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.·     Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) certification or working towards certification considered an asset.·     1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business administration.·     Exposure and understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.·     Understanding of accounting principles and the accounting cycle.·     Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is an asset.·     Experience in a non-profit, healthcare, or public-sector setting considered an asset.·     Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.·     Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.·     Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., formatting, formulas, charts, pivot tables).·     Exposure to accounting software or ERP systems.·     Willingness to learn and develop proficiency in financial software and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).·     Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated ability to deal appropriately with sensitive situations.·     Detail-oriented with demonstrated editing, proof-reading, and problem-solving skills.·     Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and observe deadlines.·     Ability to compile, prepare, and maintain detailed records and reports accurately and efficiently.·     Ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively, in a team environment.·     Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).·     Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required prior to hire.Benefits & Perks:At the CMHA HPE, we prioritize the well-being and professional growth of our employees.
