Junior Financial Analyst

At Scandinavian Capital Markets, we are looking for a highly analytical Junior Financial Analyst to join our team in Stockholm. This is a hybrid, part-time position specifically designed to fit around your university schedule. You will get the chance to step out of the classroom and directly into the fast-paced world of capital markets, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of client funds and upholding our strict regulatory standards.What you will doIn this role, you will be a key part of our financial operations and compliance workflow. Your key responsibilities will include:Transaction Execution: Processing and executing client account transactions, ensuring secure, accurate, and timely outbound capital transfers.Transaction Analysis & Investigations: Monitoring inbound payment flows, investigating discrepancies or delayed transfers, and reconciling client account activity to ensure seamless processing.Compliance & AML: Working closely with our risk teams by performing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews, and verifying the source of funds to maintain regulatory integrity.Operational Reporting: Assisting the finance team in generating daily transaction reports and optimizing operational workflows.What you bring to the tableCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.A strong investigative mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.High ethical standards and an interest in financial regulations, compliance, and risk management.Fluency in English (Swedish is a strong plus but not mandatory).Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and handle sensitive information with absolute discretion.What we offerFlexibility: A part-time schedule tailored to accommodate your exams and university classes.Hybrid Work: Combine the energy of our Stockholm office with the convenience of working from home.
