Finance Officer(Junior)Job SummaryThe Finance Officer is responsible for managing the company's financial records,ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. This role involves handlingcomplex accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, overseeing general ledger functions, andsupporting budgeting and auditing processes.Key Responsibilities:∙Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.∙Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements andreports.∙LC, RTGs, custom clearance, etc. conducting knowledge and skills.∙Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial insights and support decision-making.∙Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings (VAT, TDS, incometax) and regulatory reporting.∙Coordinate and support internal and external audits by providing necessarydocumentation and explanations.∙Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.∙Maintain and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and improvefinancial accuracy.∙Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff and review their work to ensureaccuracy.∙Liaise with banks, vendors, auditors, and government bodies for financial matters.∙Recommend and implement process improvements in financial systems and reporting.Job Specification∙Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA isa plus).∙Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles in tradingcompany.∙Experience with tax compliance, financial reporting, and audits is essential.∙Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxregulations(e.g., VAT, TDS, income tax).∙Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.∙Advanced MS Excel skills.∙Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.∙High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.∙Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.∙Strong written and verbal communication skills.∙Team player with leadership potential and a proactive attitude.∙Strong ethics and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
