Job Description
Join our dynamic and highly motivated sales team in capital markets, specializing in the distribution of fixed income and other capital markets products to institutional clients in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Collaborate with experienced team members to engage with banks, asset managers, insurance companies and pension funds. Partner with various business areas at RBI to develop innovative solutions, strengthen customer relationships, and maximize cross-selling opportunities. Your mission at RBI: Gain experience in the sale of fixed income and other capital markets products. After a training period of 1–3 months, you will confidently execute your first transactions independently Support seniors in the team in managing and expanding institutional client accounts, focusing on the DACH region Collaborate with various departments, including Trading, Research, Data & Solutions, Debt Capital Markets and RBI Relationship Managers Continuously optimize and expand the existing customer portfolio by identifying cross-selling opportunities and providing tailored solutions to meet client needs Partner with solution and trading desks on product enhancements and development Build, develop and maintain sustainable relationships with clients by understanding their objectives and needs Your core competencies: Successfully completed studies in a relevant field or comparable qualification (CFA) Quantitative and analytical skills with an in-depth understanding of financial markets High-energy, positive “can-do” attitude and ability to work independently Great communicator, comfortably interacting with clients and colleagues at all levels, able to build strong internal and external relationships Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to excellence, attention to detail, sense of urgency, especially under pressure and in preparation for high visibility engagement Proven ability to build long-term client relations and identify/close sales opportunities Open personality with the ability to approach clients proactively Strong interest in financial markets products (FX, derivates, fixed income) Fluent in German language and proficiency in spoken and written English; any additional Western European language is an advantage Nice to Have: Experience in banking or financial markets; experience with Capital Markets applications such as Bloomberg is a plus First experience in digital innovation topics, including artificial intelligence Entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen with a positive attitude and passion for driving growth & innovation What's in it for you: Flexible work week: Flexible hours, work-from-home options from Austria, and 30 days/year remote work from any EU country.
