Junior Interior Designer

This luxury interior design firm is looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join their dynamic team of professionals. This firm prides itself on having a collaborative team environment. This role is perfect for a candidate looking to take the next step in their career and work with a well-known Interior Designer who will take the time to teach you the skills and expertise needed to become a well-rounded designer.Assist the Principal and the Senior Design team with interior design tasksAct as support for client meetings and presentations, to include digital visual boards, ordering samples, and all other meeting needsWork with the design team to generate proposals on Studio DesignerOversee tracking of furniture orders to ensure on-time arrivals.Ensure smooth communication with vendors and contractors.Maintain consistent communication with suppliers, furniture showrooms, and workroomsAssist in preparations for installations.Manage the office schedule on a daily and weekly basis.Attend site visits as needed with the design teamFulfill any other tasks delegated by the teamQualifications:An associate's, bachelor's, or interior design certificate. Relevant design experience will be acceptedAn ability to multitask on designated duties simultaneously.Experience managing communication between clients, vendors, contractors, and the design team.Studio Designer experience is a plus.Experience managing schedules for a team/office.Have a positive and team-inclusive mindset.Previous experience with an interior design firm is required.This position is a full-time and in-person position based in Westwood, CA.
