Junior Investment Analyst

Hybrid - 3 days a week in the London OfficeRole Overview 🚀We're looking for a Junior Investment Analyst with a keem eye for detail to join our Investment team. This role will provide pre-investment analysis support to our Investment Team by ensuring that the data collected from our customers are well structured and standardised to enable effective review. We are working with the largest platforms in the world, including Amazon and Walmart, and strive to be the best alternative-lender globally.What You Will Do ✍️Providing pre-investment support to the Investment Team - this will involve reviewing data provided by customers and ensuring that they are complete and meet our minimum requirementsTransferring relevant information from financial statements or bank statements into investment models and sense-checking model outcomesSupporting the due diligence of integrity & accuracy of data provided by customers - liaising with account executives and customers to ensure that the information is gathered and fit for purposeDocumenting discussions and key actions coming out of the Credit CommitteeDeveloping knowledge of Uncapped's investment approach to different business segmentsParticipating in ad-hoc project work to improve our investment capabilitiesAssisting in the preparation of due diligence reports, performing KYC and KYB checks to verify businesses and assisting in tracking due diligence timelines and deliverablesRequirementsWho you are 👀Previous internship and work experience with a financial institution is a big plusFinance or accounting backgroundKeen eye for details and the ability to follow processes diligentlyNumerate with good computer skills, with well-developed spreadsheet skillsCan communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writingTeam player as well as able to work on your own initiativeAbility to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritiseBenefitsWhat we offer 🎁At Uncapped, our people make us successful.
