If you’re motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about technology and creative industries, this is a great opportunity to grow your career at one of the world’s leading animation studios.ResponsibilitiesAs a Junior System Administrator, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining DIGIC’s technical infrastructure and ensuring smooth daily operations across our production and artist teams. You’ll work closely with our IT specialists to manage systems, troubleshoot issues, and help optimize workflows in a high-performance creative environment.Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and workstationsMonitor system performance and help troubleshoot technical issues to ensure smooth operationSupport user account management, permissions, and access controlPerform or assist with regular backups and system updatesHelp document IT processes, configurations, and infrastructure changesProvide technical support to internal users (hardware, software, and network issues)Work closely with senior administrators on infrastructure improvements, automation, and optimization projectsEssential skillsBasic knowledge of Windows system administrationBasic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)Basic familiarity of Active Directory (user and group management, permissions, etc.)Some experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is an advantage ( willingness to learn is more important than deep experience)Experience in workstation hardware assembly and troubleshootingGood problem-solving and communication skillsWillingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environmentConversational level of English and Hungarian (both written and spoken)Desirable skillsFamiliarity with Linux or macOS is a plusInterest or some hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox or similar) is a plusWhat we offerUnique IT portfolio, get experience in the world of CGI and the related support technologiesA stable, internationally recognized studio environmentFriendly, professionalteamExciting and diverse projectsHybrid workOpportunities for professional growth
