Each brand benefits from the global scale and shared best practices that come from ownership by Restaurant Brands International Inc.Job OverviewThe position of Junior Procurement Specialist EMEA is responsible for Restaurant Brands International Procurement key categories. The purpose is to be a key pillar of developing and executing sourcing strategies to optimize costs to improve returns on investments and supplier base performance. Influences internal business and franchise leadership to implement procurement plans that drive Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) improvement to the RBI EMEA system and owner of high-spend complex negotiations.The role is based in Zug, Switzerland and requires 5 days on-site office attendance. Your Roles & ResponsibilitiesManaging end-to-end global procurement projects across Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeyes, and Firehouse Subs brands.Defining, creating, and implementing EMEA sourcing strategies for assigned product categories in close cooperation with the Head of Procurement and the relevant stakeholders.Conducting global RFPs, leading supplier negotiations, and managing key supplier relationships to optimize costs and streamline supplier and product base across EMEA.Ensures full alignment of Procurement strategies and execution plans with the Business Leaders (Mkt/Ops/SQA/GMs) and Master FranchiseesResponsible for ensuring the Spend Data System is up to date and used effectively for tender/negotiations/cost-saving opportunitiesOwns and Builds selected Supplier Relationships to consistently improve Supplier Performance: Cost/Service/InnovationEnsuring compliance with corporate sustainability commitments.Facilitating innovation projects and new product rollouts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Providing in-depth analytical support for global procurement projects.Your Skills And ExperienceAt least 1-3 years previous professional experience; specific experience in procurement or consulting preferred.Previous experience within QSR or retail companies is an advantage.At least Bachelor degree, preferably from business or finance area.Developed business and financial acumen; in-depth understanding of area as it relates to other industries as a whole.Very strong business analytics: data & insight driven; advanced problem solving skills and analytical capabilities in complex situations.Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to direct and influence others at all levels.Excellent Microsoft Office skills.Fluent in English.Swiss/EU/EFTA citizenship.Benefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness.
