This position reports to the Facilities and Network Product ManagerYour responsibilities will include:Determine what data needs to be gathered to inform decision making around product requirementsConduct on-the-ground analysis of processes to make informed decisionsConduct Gap analysis on current and potential future systems Gather and use quantitative and qualitative data to help formulate product requirementsExtract key insights from data for post-launch impact analysisCreate, design and document reporting metrics to measure pre and post-launch impact/efficiencySuggest ideas to solve customer challenges and validate them in close collaboration with UX and relevant stakeholdersClearly communicate requirements to UX/UI design resourcesWork with design resources to finalize the customer experience for a particular featureTake end-to-end ownership of product development including documentation, implementation, testing, launch, and success metric monitoringFacilitate backlog grooming and planning ceremoniesClarify project requirements and create acceptance criteria with QA and Engineering Perform pre-launch user acceptance testing (UAT)Collaborate with technical teams to document high-level non-functional and functional requirementsApply understanding of system architecture to help shape functional requirementsEnsure relevant stakeholders for a project are correctly identified, consulted and informedHave a deep understanding of core stakeholder pain-points / objectives related to a project and long term strategic visionManage relationships with stakeholders, related to a specific project(s), including obtaining senior stakeholder buy-in, approval and sign off for requirements and relevant project status communicationsTake initiative to identify critical problems and drive solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholdersUnderstand the product vision and strategy and how this impacts parallel teams and work streams Contribute to the roadmap to execute the product strategyAttributes required:Passion for understanding unique, ambiguous, complex problems and driving high quality, innovative, clean solutionsSolutions-oriented, can-do attitude and high energyStrong analytical and critical thinking, using data to inform decisionsStrong project management and communication skillsAbility to present ideas succinctly, in writing and verbally Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to verbalize, visualize and communicate outcomes or technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to various stakeholder groupsGood technical understanding of software development processesGood business analysis skills - analytical and able to use data to make decisionsHighly structured thinker with strong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical individualsQualifications and experience:Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field with at least 3 years of business analysis experience or exposure (through projects or responsibilities) OR 1 year of product management experience or exposure (through projects or responsibilities)If the degree/diploma qualification requirement isn't met, at least 6 years of business analysis experience or exposure (through projects or responsibilities) or 4 years of product management experience or exposure (through projects or responsibilities)Experience working with data analytics tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, BigQuery, DBeaver)Experience working with wireframing tools is preferableExperience in working with Android applicationsDesign Thinking experience will be highly advantageousExperience in the Retail, Logistics or Supply Chain industries would be advantageous Let's talk about life @ Takealot GroupThe power is in your hands: We offer a market-related, Total Remuneration Package that allows full flexibility according to your needs.
