Job Description

The Junior Project Engineer will provide technical and project support within the Pumps Division, assisting in the design, planning, and execution of overpumping and dewatering projects. The role involves learning and applying engineering principles, supporting senior engineers, and coordinating with clients and site teams to ensure project success.Required Skills & CompetenciesBasic knowledge of pump systems, piping layouts, and fluid mechanics.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Good communication skills with ability to work in a team environment.Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced project environment.Attention to detail and commitment to quality work output.Key ResponsibilitiesReview project work scope, technical requirements, drawings, and site conditions.Assist in the selection of pumps and development of overpumping system designs.Collect and analyze data required for system design such as expected flow rate, pumping medium, suction and discharge levels, static head, etc.Prepare, update, and review AutoCAD drawings, layout plans, and technical documentation.Support preparation of method statements, BOQs, and technical submittals.Coordinate with client representatives, project managers, and site engineers during design and execution stages.Conduct basic hydraulic calculations and learn to interpret pump curves and performance charts.Monitor ongoing site activities (as required) to ensure compliance with design specifications.Develop an understanding of fluid dynamics, pump operations, and project workflows through on-the-job learning.Follow company QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) standards at all times.
