In this role, you will develop, maintain and improve software applications, while working collaboratively with global teams to drive success and deliver results.Key responsibilities in your new role:Assist in development to extend and improve the existing OT (Operational Technology) software applications, with focus on automation, stability, maintainability and performance Support application implemenation Preparation and execution of application testsPlanning and implementation of rollouts of new software releasesParticipation in code reviews and contribution to improve the codebaseCreation of end-user documentation and training materialCollaboration within a global teamOptional:Ensuring the operational operation of the OT software applications in second level application supportEvaluating and improving the tools and frameworks used in software developmentYour ProfileYou are a great problem solver with strong analytical abilities, who can work well independently. With a technical foundation in IT and enthusiasm for software development, you are dedicated to learn and adapt to a dynamic and multinational environment.Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:A degree in Computer Science, Informatics or similar or proven hands-on work experience in software developmentBasic understanding of software development principles and methodologiesGood programming skills in Python or similar languagesExperience with scripting languages like PowerShell and/or BashExperience with databases (design and usage), e. g.
