This role provides an excellent platform to grow your career in private banking and make a real impact.Main responsibilities:Client Acquisition & Business Development:Proactively identify and acquire new clients, building a strong and diverse client portfolioDevelop tailored strategies to attract potential clients and establish long-term relationshipsParticipate in networking events, client meetings, and other business development activities to expand the client baseClient Advisory & Relationship Management: Advise clients on their daily financial and investment needs, ensuring their goalsand expectations are metAct as a trusted point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updateSupport clients in making informed decisions by providing insights on market trends, investment opportunities, and portfolio performanceResearch & Analysis:Conduct research to understand client needs, market developments, and opportunitiesfor growthAnalyze client portfolios and provide recommendations in collaboration with internal teams such as Investment Advisory, Legal & Compliance, and OperationsMeeting Preparation & Follow-Up:Prepare for client meetings by creating investment proposals, presentations, andother relevant materialsEnsure timely follow-up on action items and deliverables to maintain client engagement and satisfactionRegulatory Compliance & Data Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data in compliance with internal policiesand regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, AML)Support the implementation of regulatory changes and ensure adherence to compliance standardsCollaboration & Reporting: Work closely with senior relationship managers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfactionMonitor client accounts, track performance, and provide regular updates to senior managementRequirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. Alternatively, a completed banking apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.Fluency in English is mandatory / Fluency in Dutch is not mandatory but considered an advantage, willingness to learn Dutch is essential.Proficiency in additional languages such as German and French is highly advantageousCWMA (Certified Wealth Management Advisor) certification is mandatory for this roleProven experience as a Relationship Manager Assistant /Junior Relationship Manager in the banking sector is necessaryStrong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationshipsProactive and results-driven approach to client acquisition and business developmentExcellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detailKnowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements (e.g.,KYC, AML)Location: BaselStart: asap
