Junior Software Engineer

Someone capable of executing development tasks, following technical guidelines, and delivering high-quality, well-documented code. A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a drive for continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute software development tasks, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and aligned with technical specifications. Follow development procedures and best practices, including secure coding, version control, and established naming conventions. Perform unit testing, maintain technical documentation, and support incident monitoring, reporting, and information security compliance. Essential RequirementsTechnical degree, technologist, professional studies in technology-related fields, or equivalent experience; additional certifications in Clean Code, version control, or databases are a plus. Technical knowledge in object-oriented programming, relational and basic non-relational databases, design patterns, SOLID/KISS/YAGNI/DRY principles, Git, and Clean Code practices. Strong competencies in attention to detail, logical reasoning, problem-solving, results orientation, adaptability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Basic English proficiency (around 50% in reading, writing, and speaking). Experience in software development is not required, though 6 months is desirable.
