Junior Technician

Job DescriptionAre you a recent high school graduate or someone eager to start a hands-on career where you can learn, grow, and make an impact?BOAB Ventures is looking for a Junior Technician to join our team supporting advanced maritime technology for the national security industry.You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and technicians to design, build, and test unmanned maritime sensor systems — technology that helps protect our nation. Top performers can advance to higher technical roles and earn six figures over time.What You’ll DoWork with engineers and senior technicians to assemble, test, and repair maritime sensor systems.Build and repair parts using tools for soldering, drilling, cutting, crimping, and similar hands-on tasks.Assist with preparing, deploying, and recovering equipment during at-sea testing.Perform routine maintenance on tools, machinery, and equipment.Help track and manage inventory and parts.Support a variety of hands-on technical and mechanical projects as assigned.What We’re Looking ForPositive attitude and strong work ethic — show up ready to learn and contribute.Attention to detail and safety — quality and safety always come first.Hands-on experience from school, hobbies, or personal projects (e.g., working on cars, robotics, or home repairs).Team player with good communication skills and a willingness to take direction.Physically able to assist with fieldwork, including lifting, carrying, and working aboard small boats.Bonus Skills (Nice To Have, Not Required)Familiarity with tools, basic mechanics, or electrical systems.Experience working on or around boats or watercraft.Basic computer or Linux skills.Veteran status or experience working with military or defense teams.Additional InformationYou may be asked to obtain a SECRET security clearance (provided at no cost).
