Junior Viticulturist

Please note that M3 is hiring on behalf of another company.Our client, a leading table grape export company based in Paarl (Western Cape), has an exciting opportunity available for a young, dynamic, and motivated Junior Viticulturist who is eager to learn and grow within the fruit export industry.This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about viticulture, and wants to gain hands-on experience across all stages of production — from vineyard to export. The successful incumbent will be supporting producers, ensuring quality, sustainability, and compliance with export standards. The role involves regular travel between the Western Cape and Northern Cape, offering valuable on-the-ground learning and exposure to leading farming operations.The successful candidate will report to the Technical Manager and duties will include (but not be limited to): *Assisting with technical and quality evaluations *Conducting farm visits to support producers with viticultural practices *Collecting and analysing data *Compiling technical reports and records *Assisting in audits and compliance processes *All other tasks related to the role.Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience:• Relevant BSc Degree, with a focus on Viticulture (or final-year student);• Previous experience in a similar technical or vineyard role will be advantageous;• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel;• Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English;• Willingness to travel between the Western Cape and Northern Cape;• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.Please apply online at www.m3online.co.za before 09:00 on 24 November 2025.
