CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Education And Work ExperienceHigher education (University degree or higher) in construction area and not less than 3 years of work experience as Construction Engineer. Main FunctionsTo ensure compliance of KPO facilities under construction with RoK architecture, town planning and construction legislation requirements at all stages of construction (within his / her competence). Timely obtaining of permits, approvals, conclusions on conformity with RoK architecture, town planning and construction legislation requirements at all stages of construction (within his / her competence). Plan activities on obtaining required permits, conclusions and approvals.

Ensure timely obtaining of all required permits, approvals and conclusions on compliance with RoK legislation in the sphere of architecture, town planning and construction (within his / her competence). Develop and to implement actions on optimization of the process of obtaining permits, approvals and conclusions on compliance with RoK legislation in the sphere of architecture, town planning and construction (within his / her competence). Review KPO design documents for compliance with RoK legislation in the sphere of architecture, town planning and construction and to propose ways to clear violations (if required).

Inspect facilities under construction and check as-built technical documentation for compliance with RoK legislation in the sphere of architecture, town planning and construction (at all stages of construction) and to propose ways to clear violations. Accompany representatives of regulatory and other bodies during their visits to KPO facilities at all stages of construction ( as instructed by the immediate superior). Monitor clearance of comments revealed in the process of checking the facilities issued by regulators, Permits,Licenses and Approvals Department (at all stages of construction). Take part in technical and acceptance commissions.

Protect interests of KPO if representatives of state authorities exceed their powers or raise illegitimate claims (within his / her competence). Liase with the Legal Department on issues related to legality of requirements and comments made by regulators. Inform immediate superior on possible problems, risks and to suggest measures to mitigate those. Document all works done and retain the documents in the documents control system.
